Liz

Lizzy is undeniably a peerless genius. This fact is proven the very first time she steps into a laboratory at the age of ten. Initially, the busy adults in the lab have no time for her; even as the little girl struggles to carry heavy bottles of reagents with both hands, no one pays her any mind. That is, until a massive bubble suddenly appears before their eyes. It is the exact energy storage device they have dreamed of creating for years. They have tested countless reagent combinations without finding a stable formula, yet here this dazzling breakthrough sits, appearing with effortless ease. The mastermind behind it all simply blinks in confusion at the awestruck crowd.

From that day forward, Lizzy spends all her time in the lab. The researchers who once taught her gradually become her assistants as Lizzy easily shatters one scientific barrier after another. Countless powerful mixtures are born from her hands. Driven by Lizzy's concoctions, her kingdom rises to power at an astonishing pace, quickly breaking free from the oppression of other nations. This makes Lizzy feel that her work is full of meaning. But things develop far beyond Lizzy's imagination. After driving out the invaders, the kingdom does not stop. They begin to ruthlessly invade neighboring countries. With the exception of one nation where a prince pilots a mech to successfully resist, every other neighbor falls—and it is all thanks to the enhancement concoctions she created.

When the King awards Lizzy the Medal of Merit, she looks out at the audience. The soldiers below, driven into a frenzy by the war, gaze up at her in reverence, while captured enemy troops in the distance glare with bitter resentment. Nearby, ragged residents clap their hands even as they secretly sigh... These complex emotions leave Lizzy, who has lived her life in a lab, feeling completely overwhelmed. On the night after the ceremony, Lizzy's laboratory explodes for unknown reasons. All the research concoctions burn to ash, and Lizzy herself vanishes without a trace, leaving only an honorary medal corroded by reagents. Everyone says she is dead, as no one can survive such an explosion—unless she has a magical bubble that can encase her and absorb energy.

Without Lizzy and her alchemical concoctions, the kingdom is forced to halt its invasion, and peace finally returns. People occasionally lament the loss of the genius girl over dinner. The King searches the ruins countless times but finds no surviving research; her traces have completely vanished... Thousands of miles away, a wandering alchemist appears in a Governor's town. The potions she sells are baffling: they make rats run faster, let mosquitoes live three days longer, and make weeds grow over three feet tall. It is said she even has the power to turn stone into gold, but no one has ever seen it. So far, she hasn't sold a single proper potion. "Hey, stay away from that flask, unless you want to turn into a puppy..."
